Board

The folks that make things happen! We will be formalizing and posting a board selection process within the first few weeks of 2026, so expect to see more folks here soon.

President - Justin Jones

Greetings! My name is Justin Jones and I've lived in Tri Cities since 2012. I grew up in Oklahoma and was an Orchestra kid who loved art, history, and computers. I studied Computer Engineering in college and moved out to the Pacific Northwest in my 20s. I currently work remotely as a Principal Architect for a SF Bay Area tech company. I'm passionate about art, theatre, music, woodworking, and the craft of aging and blending whiskey. I've been involved in Tri Cities Art and Maker communities including Confluent Maker Space, Tri-City Area Gaming, Fuse Coworking Space, and The Rude Mechanicals Shakespeare company. I'm excited for what the Consortium of Magpies represents and the great artists we're going to get to work with! I hope to see you at a show very soon!

Secretary - Corrie Sue Harris

Throughout my career, I have been drawn to behind the scenes work that supports the doers and helpers. I love doing the work that sets the stage for folks to be sucessful. At heart, I’m a community-builder and systems thinker who specializes in team communication, culture building, and advocating for what folks need to thrive.

I’m a dog sports enthusiast, service dog handler, and long-time community volunteer. I’m driven by a love of helping folks grow, connect, and be their best selves.

As Secretary for the Consortium of Magpies, I bring organization, care, and a wholehearted commitment to cultivating a creative, collaborative, and welcoming community.

Treasurer - Ellen Mulhuasen

I am a retired HR professional from a large medical company. After moving to Washington, I became a company bookkeeper and then moving to my own Bookkeeping company for over 10 years, I am a Quickbooks Pro Advisor.

I am also a stained glass artist and craftswoman with over 20 years of expertise. I started my own company, Gabrielle’s Glassworks, doing custom windows and beginning classes. I have been blessed in having many wonderful business and private jobs throughout the Tri-Cities and Yakima.

Executive Director - Brendan Quinn

Hi! I've lived in the Tri-Cities for 15 years. Professionally, I've been a front-end developer and graphic designer for nearly 30 years, but my primary strengths are in project management and team building. I've managed projects for a wide variety of clients—from international groups like Ford Motor Company, Comedy Central, and Yamaha to local companies like Kadlec and Ben Franklin Transit.

I'm a part of Tumbleweird's editorial team and have been since my spouse, Sara, took over as Editor-in-Chief back in 2018. I work directly with Pasco School District as a web app developer, and have volunteered in Richland and Kennewick School Districts leading workshops and classes for students in topics ranging from web development to zine publishing.

Starting and managing successful nonprofits isn't a new thing for me, either. Over the last decade, I have served as the board president of Tri-City Area Gaming. We host multiple events in the Tri-Cities every week, and have contributed thousands of hours of service dedicated to strengthening local communities.

Consortium of Magpies feels like a natural extension of my experience, and I am extremely passionate about supporting and developing the art community here.

As Consortium of Magpie's Executive Director, I manage most of the day-to-day operations, coordinate shows, form and maintain relationships with folks inside and outside of the organization, and report our activities back to the Board of Directors to ensure that the work we do aligns with the overall purpose of the organization.
